an SMBus interface, read Application Note: Comparing
the I 2 C Bus to the SMBus at www.maxim-ic.com.
General Troubleshooting
Problem: Unable to find U2, U3, or U4 (MAX7313).
? Is power applied to the MAX5960L EV kit VIN2 and
VIN3 banana jacks? This is required for powering
U2, U3, and U4.
Problem: Software reports it cannot find the inter-
face board.

Are the SCL and SDA signals pulled up to VDD?
